Any recommendations? The pricing of Netflix is especially appealing, unlimited two-at-a-time rentals for $9 a month would be so awesome.

lovefilm.com has been advertised a lot lately, not sure how that compares though.
Hmm, still quite a bit more expensive. UK prices suck.

I work in often in the US and belong to Netflix – but I am British and live also in the UK where I have been a member of Lovefilm.
Netflix allow you to put your account on hold with no charges during your absence – I travel back and forth and am often out of the USA for 3 months or more.
Lovefilm will not waive the monthly charge if you are away. I asked and they said no.
Also Netflix are more efficient
I used to subscribe to Netflix when I lived in the US and I loved it. I tried Lovefilm here in the UK and I have to say it was a huge disappointment. It’s nearly twice as expensive, yet not nearly as fast, far more limited in film selection, the website and movie selection interface are clunky and, frankly, a bit outdated for the type of service they’re trying to provide. To top it all off, the customer service is shockingly poor.
If anyone else finds a service roughly on par with Netflix, please let me know! It’s the one thing about the US that I truly miss.
Cinema Paradiso is the best online DVD service in the UK – I ditched my digital TV receiver and instead signed up for an account with Lovefilm and CinemaParadiso at the same time to compare the two – CinemaParadiso is far better.
I get an email when a disc is being dispatched, and if LoveFilm and CinemaParadiso send an email on the same night then the CinemaParadiso disc will arrive the next day, get watched, and get posted back before the LoveFilm disc even turns up a day or two later.
Oh, and LoveFilm have a special trick of sending three discs in one envelope so that as you send the first disc back you have to wait 4 days for that disc’s replacement to arrive (and thus provide you with a return envelope) before you can return disc 2 or 3.
CP (at the moment, anyway) send each disc in a seperate envelope so you can return each one individually and maybe keep the others a little while longer whilst setting your next dispatch in motion.
In essence with LF you’ll get 9 or 10 discs each month on their 3 disc-at-a-time package and with CP you’ll get 12 or more for the same price.
Google ‘Blinkbox’. Online streaming of movies. Have an archive of free movies plus streaming rentals from 99p.
