I’m in the market for a best friend at this point.
She’s brilliant, hilarious, insightful, driven, ambitious, and humble all at the same time. Can I count that as one?
Her ability to kill a bad guy without any weapons in her hands and also play the fiddle.
My other best friend, until she died, was most noted for her ability to find and handcuff runaway teenagers in less than 24 hours, even if they did kick holes in her stairwell.
Our minds click together and start to hum maniacally as one.
Not sure if you’d call it a quirk, but his outlook on life, even though he has so very little time left he’s still very positive.
I also love the way he gets our dogs to sing as well as my African grey Kaden to sing. I can’t get the dogs to even listen to me.
I love that my best friend has a passion for life. She is eternally optimistic and adventurous. She has a big laugh and makes me smile. I also love that although we are very different, we have an unconditional love for each other. I feel very safe, emotionally, with my best friend.
She knows me—really knows me—and still likes me.
I like the fact that she has a large capacity for patience and understanding when I talk to her about problems that I’m experiencing in my life. She is very caring and sentimental and giving of herself.
girly best pal – we laugh at each others’ laughs which causes these raucous laughfests. it’s pretty ridiculous. plus, she lets me borrow her clothes and she pays half the rent.
boy best pal – he makes me laugh harder than is appropriate pretty much all the time. he has always been there for me through everything. he’s like my brother.
The fact that he will set me straight when I am making him and myself and everyone else nuts due to my insecurities and neuroses.
The fact that I will never get a bullshit answer when I need advice.
Lots of other stuff but we have been friends for a long time
I think the thing I love most about my best friend is that she seems to need me. She is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and is unable to do many of the things we used to enjoy.
My husband is my other best friend and the fact that he has put up with me for 25+ years makes him a keeper. Well, that and the fact that he is hilarious and keeps me laughing.
My favorite thing about my best friends is EVERYTHING. She’s awesome, she’s my other half! i love the fact that she’s willing to be completely ridiculous. That she has the maturity level of 18 going on 7. That she is me in another body. That she gives me awesome hugs. That she’s creepy hahaha and funny and that we have so many inside jokes and wonderful memories together! I don’t know what I’d do without her!
