Maybe Farmers Market around the Bay Area that opens yearround. (I am not sure if you need a “permit” to sell goods? at farmers market)

there are tons of farmers markets – i love the civic center market down the street – but i am fairly sure that you need a permit to have a booth there. you could try posting something on craigslist. or put up a flyer at rainbow grocery saying that you have mushrooms to sell. or try contacting cooking schools? if you want to compare prices you could check out the mushroom booth at the civic center farmers market. the people who work there might have some advice too.

A little late, I’m sure, but author Michael Pollan mentions in The Omnivore’s Dilemma a friend who sells wild mushrooms to local restaurants.

I just bought wild mushrooms at the Noe Valley Farmers market this morning, and I’m so excited to eat them. So you should bring some there! I have no idea if you have to pay anyone anything to sell things there.
