So they have a new Fast and Furious movie out? What is the fascination with these crappy flicks?

Neither do I, vin diesel sucks
you’re obviously not a car person..yeah the acting may be sub-par and the story line pointless but when the cars come out it’s like a cargasm for car people. the sexy engine roar and sleek designs oohh mama screeching rubber and the dramatic shifting…how can you not like it? I like all of them for the cars, the skylines, eclipses and nissan Z’s all hooked up it’s sweet.
A lot of people aren’t going drag racing soon, but can get an adrenaline rush akin to it by seeing it on a gigantic movie screen with Digital Dolby surround sound. That’s the closest reason I can come up with. I imagine the target audience for this picture is 16–24 year old boys and young men.
yeah you pretty much nailed it aprilsimnel, although I used to race I don’t anymore but these movies bring back memories for me! (I’m a 20-year-old boy)
@aprilsimnel , I guess that must be it. Since I’m not a teenaged boy, they only look stupid to me. I imagine if I were 16, it would be appealing.
Oh, wait, forgot the “nubile young women” angle. Duh, I’m a silly moo. It’s cars and girls.
yeah, those 2 usually go good together like milk and cookies. That’s why there’s always models at car shows. I get them same feeling in my loins when I see models or cars though…
My son loves “Fast and Furious” in all incarnations. It’s the cars first of all, the cars second of all, and the juvenile behavior classified by folks his age as being “cool.”
And it’s the cars.
I like the movies because of the cars. They are also just fun to watch for a couple hours. I never expect a huge story. Just a good time watching rides.
Females love Vin Diesel other than that i have no fuxing clue .
Unless they want to promote street racing is perfectly ok to do and they wonder why folk race cars . It’s cause they see it on tv and think its cool even tho it was well known to street race before these crap films were made . Car manufacturers way of getting cars and parts sold
I don’t understand why they used the same names for the first movie and this one.
So people will know its the original crew maybe .
That or they got lazy
It’s a prequel? Would never have guessed it.
The first one was good, the second, ok. and the third installment, Tokyo drift was just that. a lot of power sliding around corners.
It kinda is, but its kinda not. The characters seem to have a past history with each other in the previews. so it’ll be interesting. It’ll be worth a watch for people who liked the first two, but i won’t be going out this weekend raving to see it. I’ll put my paycheck this week toward my ride :)
I like stupid movies, they entertain me. Nothing specific makes me see them.
I think they are trying to use up all the possible movie titles that can be made with the words “fast” and “furious”.
I didnt mind the first one, i liked the opening song (i think opening song) from the Tokyo one. Never watched any all the way through though.
Although those movies made me hate Paul Walker, i have a new found love for him due to his role in Running Scared.
I noticed Vin Diesel’s in this one. He must be broke.
This movie was sick. It actually takes place between the second and third films, not a prequel to the first one. Y’all should go see it. It was the best one so far
@benseven You thought you had me? You never had me.
Hahaha…
I really enjoyed the movie. My wife liked it a lot too.
