Can someone suggest a good, inexpensive cigar for a beginner?

I don’t believe he asked for your opinion on the habit guys. You know, just pointing that out.

My favorite are Makers Mark cigars. They are bourbon flavored because the same company that makes the whiskey makes them. They aren’t too expensive but they really aren’t that cheap either. You can usually find them at any tobacco store and they run about $8 – $10 individually.

@Randy I am actually looking for something in the 2–4 dollar range, if there are any good ones in that range.

Nah, seriously just a get a decent Cohiba and you’re good to go. Make sure you’ve got plenty of Sambuca handy.

@gambitking that’s funny. Seriously, I don’t feel like I am ready to plunk down a significant wad of cash for something that I don’t even know how to enjoy properly yet.

Hmmm… I see. Well, you could always just head to the tobacco store and do a little searching until you find something that fits what your looking for.

Someone in another discussion said about the same thing about having his penis pooped on. So I wouldn’t be so sure of that.

(I know too many people who’ve did from smoking-related causes to be unemotional about the subject.)

One of my worst times ever was after smoking a cheap cigar. I got nicotine poisoning and puked for hours—and I had to leave a poker game where I was winning.

Never again.

I can see there are no cigar smokers in the group.

Ask for a cigar that is rated as mild. Don Tomas Corona Granda – $3 online or H. Upman Cabinte Section or a Por Larranga H2000 both about $5. at a cigar store. Cigars that you would actually enjoy are usually much more expensive and they are not healthy. Think twice.
