Has the standard I Q bell curve shifted as this comment from a previous question states?

IQs seem to be steadily going up, but by how much depends on what kind of IQ test you’re looking at and the population you measure. This is called The Flynn Effect.

Well if they’re grading on a curve we should just all put our names on our papers and turn it in so we can all get the highest score possible.

There are also some interesting observations when comparing the IQ bell curves of men and women. Though almost identical the male bell curve looks like the female one, except nature hit it right in the middle with a hammer stretching it a bit further to the left and right. In plain words, there are a few more feeble-minded men, but also a few more ingenious men.

Stanford-Binet is standardized, which means that average IQ will ALWAYS be 100, by definition.

No references, but I have a gut feeling: It’s shifted 15 (or so) points to the left here in fluther sice the wis.dm invasion. Just saying.
