Has anyone had difficulty adding people to their fluther?

I just tried adding Zen and it worked the first time.

Actually, some of the lurve i’ve recived recently didn’t get added to my total score… Maybe the site is buggy tonight.

Sometimes I have to hit the Great Answer button twenty times for it to show up. Eventually it works.

AstroChuck, don’t you always Fluther from your iPhone? If yes that pins the bug to the mobile version. I don’t have a problem in a browser on a computer.

Might it be because you have 2000 people in your fluther?

@johnpowell- Sorry, I forgot to mention I am fluthering on an iPhone.

I will try from my iPod Touch. But I have to use WiFi. I’m thinking the problem is with the latency on the cell network. But I will see if I can reproduce the problem in mobile safari.

@shilolo- I count 110 people in my fluther.
@johnpowell- I was trying with both wifi and with the edge network. I had trouble adding with either one.

It happened a couple times from my mobile, and I had an excellent wireless signal at the time.

I am that nerdy. Wrote a script to grab the numbers. I can tell you who follows you that you don’t follow if you want.

@AstroChuck perhaps someone doesn’t want to be added to your fluther. I’m just saying…

I broke Fluther once, and when I came back, all my friends were gone. It was a sad day.

Anyway, sometimes I have to click GA, GQ nd Add/Remove more than once, it was annoying for about an hour, I got used to it. I have no idea why it happens though.

@petethepothead @YARNLADY Me too. It’s almost like it’s delicate. I have to do it just right for it to work.

Now tell me why when I go to my account and click on external view it shows how many fluthers I’m in, but when I click to see which fluthers I’m in it gives me a different count.

Well, what do you EXPECT when you add ZEN to your fluther???

Actually, I see the same problem @petethepothead has, i.e., I have to hit GA a few times for it to respond. I also notice a slight delay with avatar pictures loading.

The GA feature sometimes is hard to get to change. But I’ve not had any problems with anything else.

@mattbrowne has happened several times. Sometimes they put a page up that tells they’re down for maintenance, but not this time. It was clear out.

@mattbrowne :: Not often. Usually they report when they are doing maintenance. This was probably just a server that needed to be restarted.

@Zen, I for one am very sorry that discussion of adding you to AC’s fluther is being cast aside in this thread for the sake of discussing downtime and servers. Please forgive us all and let’s get back to where this whole thing started. @AstroChuck we are all very glad to hear that you successfully added such a wholesome and upstanding member as Zen to your fluther, I’m am sure you will be glad you did.
