Do you mean Jonah and the whale? Jonah 1:17.
John 21:5–11
5He called out to them, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?”
“No,” they answered.
6He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
7Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, “It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water. 8The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.[b] 9When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.
10Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.”
11Simon Peter climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.
There’s an awful lot of fishing in the bible.
Jesus, the age of Pisces, and fish, are all closely related, so there are plenty of stories about fish.
@Harp
Yes that’s the fishing trip
But a little known fact, baseball is mentioned in the first sentence of Genesis:
“In the big inning God…:)
@SeventhSense Cars were also first mentioned when “they all prayed in one accord”.
I know .. it’s old.
It only has the King James version of the Bible, but if you want to search holy texts and writings from many religions at once, you can use Ocean (if you have a PC).
Just a note. I was not far from shore in front of a friends house one day sailing and from a storm the night before a very shallow sandbar had formed. It was invisible from the shore but I pulled the sailboat right up to it and then got out and walked the length of it and then back again. As I turned to walk back to the boat I noticed that now I had an audience on shore. Laughing now at the memory. I took the boat back in and when I got out this little crowd parted and this little fellow asks me, “Are you Jesus?” I replied “No darlin, but I do know how he walked on water!”
