@FGS no, i’m not “biggish”.
I middle school, I was at the peak of hotness with a perm, braces, and big purple Sally Jesse glasses. Someone told me I look “like that girl from 90210.” I was hoping for Brenda. He meant Andrea. Sigh.
@FGS : I’d like some proof… naked photographic proof! Underwear would be acceptable.
@chyna Yeah. My point was that I was disappointed. I saw myself as cute. :)
I was in line at a grocery store once and the woman in front of me said – “You look just like that woman who drowned her kids.” then she proceeded to ask everyone around me if they thought I looked like that woman (I can’t remember her name) When she was leaving she turned around and said “don’t drown your kids”. weirdo !
@mjchatter Susan Smith? Wow, 2 women who drowned their kids.
Not in looks, but by association. I was in a group of people, and a fan said “Who is she” pointing at me, but another fan said “Oh, she’s nobody”.
@YARNLADY Who was the famous person you were with, if you can divulge that information?
I’ve been told I look like Anderson Cooper, Ryan Gosling, and some guy from “Kyle XY”.
No one with an IQ of more than 25, and who wasn’t crazier than a loon would ever mistake me for someone famous. I have that aura about me. You know—the “this schmuck couldn’t fight his way out of a paper bag” thing?
On the other hand, I’m not sure I’d want to be. It’s just as well that I’m me, and no one else is. It’s bad enough that one of us has to be me. Let’s not compound the mistake!
@chyna
Well, for Anderson Cooper and Ryan Gosling, there are a few pictures of those two that I can see how people might say I resemble them. As for the guy from Kyle XY, I’m not even sure who it is, not the main character, someone else, I just remember someone saying that to me once.
@ubersiren That is something I cannot accommodate. Kelly27 does not take kindly to naked pics of her man being spread around….You understand of course? :)
@FGS You’re dating Kelly??
@Dansedescygnes I only know who the first two are also and either one is handsome, so you must have it going on.
Brian Peppers.
Google him, I dare you.
@chyna I won a costume design contest and got to visit the cast of Star Trek.
I’ve been told I look like Rick Schroader. Probably because of the round face and blond hair.
@FGS : I don’t want to cause a jelly ripple, now do I?
@shockvalue: Never again will I google that… thing. Curiosity already killed this cat.
well you must be lucky and handsome. i’ve never been “mistaken” for a celebrity/famous person but ive been told i look like someone famous numerous times throught out my life,many different people. the most common one i get is scarlett johansson, which i really dont mind :D
@debmov32 i’d like to see photographic proof of that one.
Now-a-days I get Courteney Cox. I don’t see it… must be the coloring? I was also told Carrieann Moss, but I don’t see that one either.
@debmov32
I happen to have a little infatuation with her. You better not be pulling our leg.
Umm, I have been asked if I am related to Kevin Bacon. Seems like whenever I go to the Staples Center one of the workers there asks me if they know me from somewhere, like a movie or show… ha
I get it all the time: “hey, Ted Bundy, I thought they fried you.”
One time when a patient came out of anesthesia he kept calling me “Boss”. He really believed I was Bruce Springsteen.
yeah every famous fat guy ever…chris farley, kevin james etc, etc
Someone came up to me in a grocery store once and said that I looked like Anna Kournikova. I was very flattered!
@chyna @casheroo Yeah – I think it was Susan Smith. Either way it was pretty weird and other people were looking at her like she was insane and kept saying that they didn’t think I looked like her at all.
