Anyone have any recipes for natural cometics or personal care products?

There are a lot of natural face cleansers.
Witch Hazel
Rubbing Alcohol (isn’t exactly natural but you get the drift)
Agave Washcloth
Coastal Sage Soap

I don’t have any “recipes” but I love this question and am going to follow it.

First things first. What is your goal? If you are looking for a way to look “younger” or “prettier” or some other than natural, you can purchase many commercial products that claim to help.

I use a soap called “clear” with warm water, and nothing else.

Make it yourself face/body scrub: 3 parts brown sugar to 1 part oil (I use baby oil). Mix only enough to use at one time, and mix just before using it. It works great, smells yummy, and leaves your skin silky smooth.

This site has lots of info on all kinds of products and also some recipes for homemade versions.
