I don’t think there is an answer to this question, really. Depends on what you mean by best.

I would use GDP per capita to measure this. And according to the CIA Liechtenstein has the best. That is old data.

But you really need to define “best” to get a good answer.

GDP is a useful factor in various economic analyses but in itself is not a great way of ranking economic progress or growth. Wikipedia article on the limits of GDP measure and an OECD editorial exapnds on that.

Agreed with @oratio, you need to clarify what best actually means. High wages? Quality of life? Purchasing power? Opportunity? All those measures would cause big differences in ranking.
