@jonsblond I was just thinking about your football and beer answer. I honestly can’t say I prefer one over the other. I love shopping and getting all girly, and I also love doing “guy” things like fishing and hockey games.

The first time I took the SATs I studied for the math portion really hard (I suck at math) and did okay. The second time I took them I did overall much better and improved my math score by 100 points without studying.

I use a Diva Cup and love it.

I speak Spanish and I love translation. It excites me.

I’ve had my heart broken 3 times and I’m 20 years old. That feels too young. But who am I to judge.

Sad to say, but I don’t know what I’d do without my iPod, especially these days. :/

I just started reading “The Count of Monte Cristo” on my iPhone. Chances are I won’t finish it. My nightstand has 6 books that I have yet to finish.

I can write names in cursive in pancake batter backwards so that they read correctly when the pancake lettering is then filled with backing batter, cooked some more, and then flipped. :^>

I’ve never seen Star Wars either. Just that newest animated one. My husband is a Star Wars fan, he hates that I won’t watch it.
I also hate anything Muppets, other than Sesame Street, which isn’t too bad. Oh, and Eureka’s Castle.
I won’t let my son watch Muppets anything, like Muppets in Space. It totally freaks me out.
My entire personality changed, which made me believe people can actually change if they try.

@augustlan I had a lymp node biopsied in my neck, as well. But, I was 19. I was 17 for the first biopsy.
I have a fear of internal sensations. So much so that it consumed my life for a couple years.
Because of that, I think my phobia of Bengay comes into play. I can’t stand the senstion of it tingling on my skin.

You are right, of course. I always wanted to knit, but my mom wouldn’t teach her first-born son to do “woman’s” stuff.

Later on, when she discovered feminism (after 5 kids, a divorce, and a change of careers and heart) she used to tell me that she regretted not teaching me something I was interested in just as a hobby – (I do macrame and all kinds of stuff – when I have the time – now my daughter does too);

Ken Dryden, the fantastic Hall of Famer Goalie – macho enough fer ya, eh? used to knit while watching games when he was injured. I kid you “knot.” You can wiki or google it.
