Have you ever exchanged sex for something else of value?
A better grade; a promotion or a raise; money…
How did you negotiate this trade? Did you or the other party get it going? What did you do, and what did you do leading up to it and following it? Did you get what you paid for? How do you feel about it now?

Well, yes…..1/2 of my house and a car I purchased to my ex when she split. It was well worth it. I go the kids. I walked in on her and a neighbor (on the floor) when I returned home early.
lol well.. in highschool there was this girl, pretty cute, we were friends, hooked up every once in a while. And for a long time she’d come over after class with some sandwhiches and movies. And one day we ended up sleeping together, so, every time she was in the mood, she’d show up at my door with food… lol I would have slept with her regardless, but to this day I’m not really sure if she thought she was bribing me or something lol….
Not me, but I knew a woman who had an affair with a co-worker every day at lunch. She lived near the office, so they would meet daily and she would make him lunch as well.
He would say he was getting a “nooner and a tuna”.
Well my iPod Touch, my DS, and some other stuff were negociated in bed with hubby LOL!!! Just kidding, I’d never do that…
Dinner and a movie
oh wait…. thats usually the other way around lol
I slept with a girl in exchange for a flight down to LA.
I have exchanged sex for something of value: love. I’m not entirely sure it was a fair exchange. The love has lasted much longer than the sex…
No, I haven’t but if you know of anywhere that I can, will you let me know? ;)
I got my girlfriend the complete Iron Maiden discography in exchange for having sex for the first time. After a nine month wait the three day download was well worth it.
@cprevite I laughed way too hard when I read that lol
Well, I was a stay at home mom for 15 months ;)
One girl I was with once admitted she would probably have sex with someone for like $1000, much to my displeasure.
As I understand it, EVERY girl has a certain price that they would have sex for money at. The question then just becomes, what amount of money is that for most people?
Nope. Sex is not a bartering chip to me. Web design is my preferred bartering chip (and quite an effective one too).
@westy81585 You’ve understood it wrong. Some girls, such as myself, have class. There is no price tag on my vagina. Yes I would turn down $10 million.
@dynamicduo: I think this is a privilege we’re granted in first-world countries that most of the world doesn’t have. Barring apocalyptic destruction of our economy, girls like us will never have to turn to this sort of thing. But for most of the world, prostitution is the only way out of extreme poverty. It’s not about class. It’s about need.
Niki nailed it, folks. We can stop being proud about our “high standards” (assuming we think we have them) and start feeling criminally lucky.
@nikipedia: xoxoxoxoxoxox.
@nikipedia I agree with your outlook but I disagree with it in the context of this thread. We are not talking about prostitution here, we are talking about exchanging sex for something, presumably a one-time thing. Nor are we talking about third world situations.
I had in mind someone who sleeps with a professor to improve a grade, or someone who sleeps with an old guy so he can be a sugar daddy, or sleeping with the boss to get a promotion. Or a dominatrix or other, less common sexual trades. Johns can buy time with the same prostitute many times, or once. Some of these are one-time things, but others might go on for a while.
Nobody would trade anything valuable for a piece of mine. :D I’d probably have to pay, actually.
I’ve exchanged sex with someone I could no longer stand so they’d shut up and let me rest so I could go to work the next and make more money in order to finally get the hell away from them.
It’s not very valuable, but I got chlamydia for sex once ;-)
When it’s good; my love.
When it’s bad; my time.
@dynamicduo: who are you to say we can’t talk about third-world situations? What the fuck?!?!?
No. I guess integrity is hard to come by these days.
@susanc: unless an answerer comes from a third world nation, then, technically, this has nothing to do with third world nations. I’m asking people here, personally, if they have every used sex to get something of value to them.
@laureth: Don’t feel bad.
I joke that I could make money reverse-stripping. “Put it on! Put it all on!”
@cprevite Are you making some kind of subtle dig at me? Because, if I shake my booty, you are so going to regret that!
@daloon: Not at all.
You can keep your, er, “booty” shake-free.
@cprevite – You know that song, “It’s gettin’ hot in here/ So take off all your clothes…?” In the winter, it makes me think of the reverse. :D
@dynamicduo I am pretty sure sex in exchange for anything is a form of prostitution. Or did you mean to identify prostitution as a profession, oh great and powerful graphic designer?
@dynamicduo Speaking of graphics, could I get a link to some of your handy work?
A wedding ring – like most guys.
