I would say that unless there is some image or saying that you truly want to have permanently inked on your arm, you should not get the tattoo.
A picture of your leg that has a tatoo of your arm on it.
If you have to ask strangers what to put on your body, then you should wait until you know what you want.
@Jeruba i want it to look like a tag because i love the art…but i just am not sure what to have on it
@alfredaPrufrock just ideas.
For it to be meaningful to you should be something you want, not what someone else suggests. Any tattoo should be what you want !
If you don’t know what to get, you shouldn’t get one.
I agree with @Jeruba that if you don’t know what you want on your arm, wait for the tattoo until you do.
Have written in Chinese script, “I can’t read Chinese.”
something written in a nice font.
make it memoriable, and something that will make you smile when you are sad. Thats why i got mine when i look in the mirror at my back it makes me smile because i know the meaning behind it.
Find a saying or something that means alot and there work from there.
Are there any words or phrases your mom would say to cheer you up or encourage you? It would be nice for it to tie-in with your mom.
Left.
Next year you can get Right.
That was mean, I take it back. So sorry.
If you don’t know, don’t get one.
i think it’s ironic that you want something meaningful, yet you’re asking a bunch of people who don’t know you at all.
A tatto should always have meaning to you as it is something that you are going to put on YOUR bodt that will last your entire life. This is not something that you should have to ask other people about. It is simply something that should feel right in your heart. If you are having doubts or are unsure it is best to wait until you know what you want.
Every answer you get on fluther in japanese.
I don’t know either, I’m afraid. My first inclination was to say, “A tattoo of a guy with a tattoo of a guy flexing on his bicep, into infinite.”
simply the word, “Tatoo” (it is what it is, or it would make you think of “fantasy island’s Tatoo”... either way, sure to make people smile then laugh, and in turn make you smile and laugh).
