website where you can send a text to a cellphone?

Someone recently posted somethign here about a website where you can type in a text and it gets sent to someone’s phone. I can’t find that posting and can’t remember the name of the website. Does anyone remember? Thanks.

The actual question can be found here . i recommended http://www.txt2day.com/ on the post. But there are a bunch of other sites like http://gizmosms.com/, http://www.anontxt.com/. Just beware that some sites might spam a number so use a trustworthy site.

if you using firefox, you have to goto http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/sendtophone/ to use the sendtophone feature

I usually use http://www.shoprogers.com/wireless/sendpcs.asp, I think it can only txt to Canada though.
