What do you do to add excitement to your life?
I’m looking for ideas on exciting things to do to break the monotony of work/school and the usual routine. What do you do to break free/have a thrill?

I tried to go skydiving, they said I was too fat lol…something about weight limits and parachutes I think they were just being prejudice.
Is there another skydiving service in your area that might have a big boy parachute? My ex-uncle was a big dude and was able to skydive because they had a bigger parachute.
I take a walk. Yea. My life really IS that exciting.
Try doing a random act of kindness.
Apparently I make out with the guy that lives next door to me….
Train for a 5k or some other event.
(I’ve started doing that and it’s changed the way I look at pretty much everything- makes life much more exciting!)
Recreational ice hockey. :)
Do volunteer work at your local food bank, nursing home/hospice, zoo, animal shelter, or Boys and Girls Club. For other ideas, search “volunteer opportunities” online
Be spontaneous. Try something new. If you are in a relationship, have a date night once a month. If you are not in a relationship, have a girls night out once a month with friends. Plan an excursion. Volunteer with organizations that have meaning for you. Take up an interesting hobby.
Do I follow my own advice? You bet. This past week-end, I took a seven year-old on her first camping trip!! Now THAT was adventure!
Today I outdid myself: bought a subway sandwich to eat with my tivo’ed Chuck. My heart’s racing just thinking about it.
Lately, just having time for friends to do whatever. I’ve been busier than a one armed paper hanger since I started up another job (on top of my full-time teaching job) and to have time to go out for a few martinis and do some dancing makes me a happy girl.
I passed my blood pressure test today, so they don’t have to increase the amount of blood pressure medication I’m taking.
Bungee jumping and running or biking races for a cause.
