I had a good 8 hours last night and it’s a gorgeous day out, but I’m doing my damndest to keep these peepers open. Would love to crawl back into bed.

…stress pumps me up big time, but the farting out of control balloon effect is usually not far behind (no pun intended)...a dead sleep is almost certain to follow that…
I feel the same way today. Gotta go make a strong cup of tea.
Yes, stress can make you feel that way. So can many medications.
I did crawl back into bed but the UPS man came. The dog’s illegally loud barking got me up. I guess I should thank them.
Supposed to go out for drinks and dancin’ tonight. The body is saying “Hell, no!”. We’ll see if I can squeeze in a quick nap before we go…
I would eat a lot when I’m stressed out.
I think it’s the opposite for me. I tend to be wide awake and have trouble sleeping when I’m stressed.
I can be tired but not able to sleep… ugh…
Definitely can’t sleep when I’m stressed. Even after the initial stressor is removed or alleviated, I’m pumped for hours. Adrenaline is an intense thing.
Being stressed makes me awake, makes me smoke.
I am so glad I don’t smoke – if I did, I would smoke all the time! I’ll settle for my short finger nails!
@Triiiple yes and yes! It’s an awful combination, lack of sleep plus nicotine.
