A question about scanners for computer geeks.

I have a cannon image class mf5770 scanner printer fax machine. The scanner wasn’t working right so my computer guy installed OmniPage SE and it works great for documents but when I try to scan pictures it makes everything negative. I can temporarily make it look right on the screen but I can’t get it to save correctly. Any tips?

Download the Canon software. I use a Canon scanner and it works well.

See if you can find the settings or preferences menu. It sounds like it’s inversing the picture because it thinks you’re scanning film negatives! So look for anything that talks about film scanning within the preferences.
