How do I get rid of "isass.exe" the virus?
When I load my pc I get an error message, the title bar says isass.exe. I googled it and it says it’s a virus. I guess you can remove it but all the ways I found to remove you have to be able to access the desktop which I can’t because as soon as I get the error message my computer restarts. Anyone know what to do? Thanks!

Have you tried restarting in safe mode?
if the safe mode doesn’t work, you could try installing MalwareByte’s Anti-Malware, and using the FileAssassin program that comes with it. (Just google it, the app is pretty popular)
If that doesn’t work, go to lifehacker.com, search for a post titled ‘5 Best Malware removers’, and check out the various options on the list. Its one of the more recent posts.
no, thanks I’ll try that.
You could restore from last working state. Some virus’ wont let you visit websites where you can get help to remove them !
@sandystrachan usually you can go to those websites in safe mode though
My friend had a few nasty virus’ on her system and they wouldn’t let her do anything in safe mode . It took an hour but i got it fixed , You could ask a friend to download Rogue Remover FREE and burn it to a disk or send to you via msn as you cant send .exe over emails. A system restore wont make you loss any of your media that may be on the hard-drive.
cant you rar the .exe though? I’ve never really had to email an exe, just curious
