Anyone interested in info on the Geminid meteor shower?

Asked by gailcalled (54647points) December 11th, 2007

Geminids are easy to view from mid-northern latitudes.excellent viewing starting in mid- to late evening.

This year, the best time to view the Geminids from North America is the night of December 13–14, with good prospects the following night as well. In Asia, December 14–15 should be better, and in Europe, it’s a tossup between the two. Want more info?

Any chance I’ll be able to see them with these city lights? Probably not, huh?

Probably not, Brian, particularly if you are having the grim weather we are. By any change if it is clear, look up towards the east above Orion’s left shoulder. Only a Zamboni could have gotten up my driveway on Monday.
