Fun things to do in or near stockton CA?

I want to take a close friend out to do something fun, she is graduating and leaving this may. we live in stockton CA and don’t want to drive more than 40 min. my friend is pretty open to new things. she’s kind of dorky, likes to watch documentaries, loves to eat, and likes music. last important thing is we are broke college students so it can’t be too expensive. thanks in advance for any suggestions!
