Tucking skinny jeans into boots- made for the Northpole or the runway?

I have these fantasic black boots with faux fur at the top, but everytime I put them on with skinny jeans I seem to get weird looks....

It's very high-fashion right now, but it's also a repeat of 1985, so maybe the people giving you weird looks aren't up with the current fashion - just remembering their horrid high school years.

I think it's still really cute, though I know some people think the whole skinny jeans tucked into Ugg-like boots (even if they're not Uggs) is "last year"...but I say screw that, it's still cute and it's warm and cozy. I also agree that you may actually be getting looks of appreciation for your boots, not weird looks!
