I throw litter out of my car on a regular basis,is this wrong seeing that i pay my taxes and part of my tax money goes to help keep the streets clean it also keeps people in work?

Yes. It’s wrong. The hospital also patches up people who have been shot. It doesn’t mean you should help keep them necessary.

Who exactly are you keeping employed to pick up the trash? Most of the trash pickup I see is from groups who volunteer to keep up a stretch of road. From the looks of things, there are many areas that have virtually no one, volunteer or paid, to keep them up. It is impossible to cover every inch of the country with people to pick up trash from litterbugs. I have never understood why it is so hard to keep it in your car until you find a trash can.

Dude, why be a fucking disease? I used to do that but then I woke up and asked myself what the fuck I was doing. Seriously. Do you realize what a blight mankind is on this Earth? Why contribute to that?

I see trash along the side of the road and I lose hope in humanity. That’s what you’re doing when you throw something out of your window.

Well, not that he’s following anymore, but I always figured it wasn’t a good idea to throw stuff out of car windows in case it hits another car. Sure, it wouldn’t do any damage to the car necessarily, but if you saw something flying at your windshield when you were driving, would you stay the course or freak out and swerve?

i think littering is selfish because it ruins other’s enjoyment of whatever they’re looking at. when i drive down the parkway and see trees, grass, an occasional deer, why should i have to look at someone’s litter just because they are too thoughtless, selfish, lazy to throw it out the correct way, in a garbage pail?

he makes it like he’s being generous with his talk about keeping people employed. people don’t need litter to remain employed.

p.s. i also don’t see why people think that throwing cigarette butts out a window does not count as littering.
