Have you discovered Wordle.net?
I just found this cool website, that allows you to make a word cloud out of any text you provide. I put my thesis in! What fun things can you create?

@asmonet I love that sex is the biggest word in your cloud.
@shilolo: That’s odd, I don’t see sex in Asmonet’s cloud at all! What’s going on?
@hannahsugs: Me either, but I wouldn’t mind if it was. ;)
Maybe, to Shi, Culture, Social and Society is all sex.
@eponymoushipster: Yes, I see the word cloud, but the biggest word in it is “Social” or “Culture”, not “Sex”.
@asmonet: I’m glad I’m not crazy. Good point, though! After all, everything comes down to sex in the end, doesn’t it?
Mangeons made me one for Mother’s Day. She put in all the words that describe me and our relationship, printed it out and framed it for me. I lurved it!
Ok, I was just kidding, but I made you all look (I guess I was just extrapolating).
That’s wonderful! Thank you. I can’t wait to play with it.
@shilolo: Thanks for the free publicity, darling. ;P
I like yours, @DD. I can easily imagine getting hooked on this. What a great toy for wordies!
Thanks, I like yours, too! :)
@augustlan Oooh, you should use that as a graphic on your flyer! It’s definitely eye-catching!
Lurve for that, @fireside.
We should note that the creator of the software claims ownership of the images and requires attribution if you use them in a screen capture (presumably in a published medium, not a Mother’s Day present—but maybe he means that too). And that is fair. This is a brilliant creation and deserves recognition.
I love it excellent resource for teachers too!!! It is rather addictive :)
Brilliant, you two. Brilliant.
It was hard to pick a font for this one, but I wound up liking the results, so I’m sharing!
Briar Rose
Another because I just love this toy so much:
Annabel Lee
Poe’s use of repetition makes his stuff excellent for this. And that’s my favorite of his poems. :D
More fun with Poe:
The Raven
The Tell-Tale Heart
Two more and then I’ve got to go do something else.
I thought so, too, @MacBean. I loved the way “The Bells” came out.. “The Raven” is great.
It is a little addicting, isn’t it?
Oh, dear. Despite the fact that it’s one of the smallest words there, “cock” was what jumped out at me from the House That Jack Built one. I fail at not being pervy. :(
Tch. And I didn’t even notice it. But of course that was the cock that crowed in the morn, that waked the priest all shaven and shorn, so I thought nothing of it.
