Do you ever look at users' jellyfish icons and think they're something else?

Spresto’s jellyfish looks like an alien skull to me unless I really focus on it.

I thought about changing the jellyfish, but I like the looks of it. lol.

Very few people seem to use a real photograph.

You all know how to see avatars at their full size, right? Of course, it doesn’t work on the jellies, but for example, mine is a snowman on a beach. Right click, copy image location, paste into your URL, delete the part that says “thumb”, and enter. Ta da!

I like loading them up in full view and seeing what details there are. But I do this very rarely. Mostly I don’t really care what they are and don’t pay them much attention. I do like unique avatars cause it makes it easy to know who is who, but use what you like :)

You also have to remove the underscore before thumb, but that’s how you do it!

Yes, some of these are very hard to tell what they are. Too bad they aren’t big on the profile pages.

Yes! I had the same jelly pic for my original default avatar. Even though I knew it was a jellie, I thought it looked like a brain from the old “Dr. Brain” PC games.

Until I looked at Daloon’s close up I did not realize it is an atlas

Before the enlargement tips, I was told that my avatar was of a chicken. Maybe it is.

@knitfroggy Think of daloon’s as a great reference unless you are seeking countries that may have fallen through the crack.

I think the jellies look too much like spiders, and I have a severe, irrational fear of spiders, which makes them rather off-putting.

I thought jbfletcher was a gorilla.

@jbfletcherfan to an ant, a squirrel is an 800 lb gorilla. It’s all a matter of perspective.
