I thought the movie was good other than the fact that it was too short. I expected it to continue after the final grenade and it sort of just ended with a feel good voice over. But other than that it was very entertaining.
I loved the movie, Will Smith did a great job. Some parts were sad, but overall great movie. Now I know what to do if I’m the only one in San Francisco.
I liked some portions of it, however I felt that they just wanted you to feel ultra sorry for john in the end, I think he could’ve made it out alive. BTW, I know people always hear this, but the movie was nothing like the book.
I enjoyed it, but was not expecting much. The Omega Man was better, no K9 love and he lived.
It was too friggin’ short. I wish they’d have used a mix of real actors and cg for the monsters. The overuse of cg was distracting. That said I was very entertained. A big thumbs up from me.
The horror of Matheson’s story still hasn’t really been captured on film. Maybe one day.
i thought it captured the loneliness and borderline insanity that must accompany three years of solitude very well. best acting will smith has ever done. especialy impressive was the scene in the lab caring for the dog… sort of amazing when you realize that most of good acting is reacting, and smith had only a trained dog to react to.
I thought it was okay. I mean, the storyline was good and Will Smith did a phenominal job acting, that’s for sure. But I thought they could have ended it better to be honest. I believe the hype is more in the effects than anything. It was entertaining, but I can’t give it a full two thumbs up- on a scale form 1 to 10 I’d give it a 7.
I have a fear of being the only one living. It would be so lonely. So I especially like it because in the end, there wer emore survivors. 5 stars.
