Ya will I live a in a podunk town in the United States and its not much better. I mean right now, I feel like all hope is lost. How are we supposed to smile and have a good time wth so many problems getting us down. Im very frustrated with my life.I hate it here. I want to go to a new place and start over. A new school, make new friends and all that good stuff. Im 18 and I still live with my grandparents. I cant leave really because I have no money. So I guess were both in pretty tough predicaments. The question is..what do we do now?
Utterly, yes…my partner and I are going through a rough patch in our marraige as we’re trying to raise 2 kids under 3 with the economy truly screwing us over and my father’s cancer getting worse and worse
It’s getting better. I definitely bit off more than I could chew as far as jobs and commitments go. I spread myself too thin, was (and still am) dealing with family issues and then trying to incorporate romance —ridiculously difficult. One thing that I needed to do was to make out a schedule, so I didn’t feel so overwhelmed. Also, I had to say “no” to a few tutoring jobs because it was all too much (good money, but I wanted to keep relatively sane and not feel like a tired bag o’ shit all of the time), and have also learned that I need to distance myself from some family members. Having to deal with their drama was tapping me out emotionally.
One thing that I can say is that you need to take time for yourself. Treat yourself to something, take care of yourself (physically) and give yourself time to just chill. It’s makes dealing with everything so much easier. Like today, I am off work and am just chillin’ on a gorgeous, sunny day. Try to eliminate the stressors as best as you can.
I need a job and student loans kicking my ass. An education that i have doesnt seem to help me with gettting a job. I say FUCK THE ECONOMY
Yes college stinks, and it sucks all your money and basically just sets you up for working for the rest of your life. DONT GO TO COLLEGE! blehhhh
@Cici…. I love Irish girls though…....
Yes I can’t seem to get my ass out of the house! I’m ruled by my emotions!
Omg, YES!!! I came home to visit my mother because she told me she was having surgery, and now she’s not sure if she’s having it or not. She knows she needs it (we all do) but she’s just “too busy” to call the doctor and schedule the darn thing. Now I’m stuck in this crappy town for a month, missing my boyfriend like crazy, not making any money, not working on projects I need to do, and living with her FOR NO REASON!!! I hate my life right now.
Things are very rough lately. I can just hope that they smooth out and get better. I try not to get too frustrated, but it’s hard.
