Who is going to win the Stanley Cup?

Unfortunately I think it will be Detroit. I hate them so much I want anyone but them to win, but I don’t see it happening.

Anyone, but Detroit. I was hoping that it’d be a Canadian team, though. Honestly, I don’t get into it at all. I had no choice whilst growing up because I came from a family of boys and “Hockey Night in Canada” was a weekly thang. They’re all diehard Leaf fans. Watching sports on tv bore the hell outta me, unless, it’s Women’s Beach Volleyball..

Haha fair enough. I’m rooting for Pittsburgh. I’m really hoping it’s not Detroit also.

I think the Hawks will win it. They had a lot of potential in the season, and now they’re playing their best and are pretty amazing!

I think that the Hawks are the best team right now, but they have a bit of a hill to climb.

Detroit will win. They have 3 well balanced lines, and they have the experience. Chicago, IMO, could be a better team (they are freaking fast) but they are too young.

@westy81585 haha. I don’t, really. Not a fan of Detroit at all. I live an hour away from the “D” (border town) and when they do win, we get Red Wings shit rammed down our throats for a good month or so afterward. It makes me nauseous just thinking about it.

When it comes to organized sports (we’re taking all sports), I tend to vote for the team with the prettiest jersey. In other words, I don’t give a rat’s ass. :)

I live in Columbus, and I didn’t even know there was a team here until about 6 months after I moved here.

I have relatives near Detroit who are all pumped about the Wings, but honestly, I think it’s just because their other teams (Lions, Wolverines, Pistons, etc) haven’t been doing so hot lately, so that’s really all they have.

To be honest Detroit has an amazing team. They have had near flawless games. I just have a personal vendetta against them, an unexplainable hate, a sick passion for their demise. LOL that’s harsh.
I’d like to see Chicago win with our hometown boy Kane, but like @critter1982 said, they are young. I don’t see it happening.
@jmah That’s funny, the rivalry between Toronto and Buffalo (my city) is legendary. Those are the best games to go to because the fans are insane. Of course, Buffalo usually wins. Unfortunately we sucked this year, but at least we aren’t as bad as Toronto! ;)

I hope Pittsburgh!!!!! it’ll be the pens and the wings in the Stanley cup finals, I just hope this year they can trump emmmm:D

it’s time for hockey in chicago to be on the stanley cup pedestal. because of heightened awareness in the team since the owner put games back on TV, not to mention the winter classic, chicago deserves it more than anything.

we are a loyal fan base, win or lose, (uh, da cubs?) but, chicago just needs a winner desperately. haven’t had a dynasty since Michael jordan and the bulls of the ‘90s.

man, that was a great decade here in chicago. we partied every may and june.

geeeeeeeze a lot of Wings haters on here. Detroit has the experience to take home the cup again, it’s just a matter of if they can keep momentum going, which sometimes is a problem. Mainly, I think a lot of you are just jealous your teams don’t have it. :D
