So I’m basically looking for a comfortable over-the-ear headphone. I’m not an audiophile as long as the sound quality’s normal and clear I’m fine with it. I just want something that I can wear for 2 to 3 hours everyday while working.
My curent two options are the Panasonic RP-HT260 (which are apparently more comfy) or the Sennheiser 201 (which apprently have a better sound quality)?
(also its summer and thus i have time to use fluther again)

A key component in buying headphones (presumably for an iPod right?) is noise reduction.
Noise reduction means you don’t have to turn your music up as loud in an effort to block out ambient external noise and your hearing will last longer in your life.
As for which one of these is better, I’m not sure but those are two quality brands right there. I don’t think either will suck.
sennheisers all the way . they are real comfy and great sound better build
These (link) are the best Sennheisers in terms of cost/performance. Additionally, they provide much of the noise cancelling due to the design. Even though they’re small, the ear cups are deep enough that they mimic the results of the larger designs while being far more comfortable. Plus, for the price you can find the PX200s on Amazon, you can’t get a better sounding wired headphone.
A good bluetooth option is the Sony DS980 (link). I’ve had these for nearly 3 years now, and I couldn’t commute without them. Perfect for use with a smartphone or with a Bluetooth dongle (link) for an iPod/Zune/etc.
Thanks for all the input. So I ended up going to Micro Center and trying both on. I have like large ears and the Panasonic ones fit really comfy whereas the Sennheiser ones had better build quality. I needed something that I could wear for a long period time.
As for noise cancellation, I tried the Sony MDR-nC60 back in the day and i didnt really feel much sound difference when inside a house
