What is the “most memorable quote/policy” varies from person to person and is influenced by their world view.
I would suggest that you get a list of presidents, and search the web for quotes and choose those that you think are most memorable.
Google, the arbiter of knowledge, is your friend and ally.
Just give yourself extra time for Bush 43.
eww peenutbutter. i prefer nutella, thank you.
LOL, Peanut butter?? Oot (said with my Canadian accent) come all of the crazies..
@ragingloli Well, for a lot of presidents, it’s rather easy. FDR “only thing to fear is fear itself”, JFK, “ask not what your country can do for you…”.
[mod says] Let’s try to stay on topic, folks.
George H. Bush “read my lips, no new taxes.” liar
Bill Clinton (whom I adore): “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” Also a liar.
George Bush the 1st. : “No, I don’t know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God.”
I started my list:
32. F.D.R: “only thing to fear is fear itself”
33. H.S. Truman: Truman Doctrine (fighting communism) and Marshall Plan (reconstruction in Europe in effort against Communism)
34. Eisenhower: nada?
35. JFK “Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.” assassinated early
36: L.B. Johnson: The Great Society; finishing what JFK started
I think you can come up with something for Eisenhower.
Me(future president): What?
36: LBJ; showing his appendectomy scar to the world. (Or was it his gall bladder?)
Thanks for all the help! Here’s my list!!
“Ich bin ein Berliner”
36. L.B. Johnson: The Great Society; finishing what JFK started
37. Nixon: Watergate
38. Gerald Ford: pardoned Nixon
39. Jimmy Carter: Nothing?
40. Reagan: improve economy; “peace through strength”
41. George H. Bush: return to tradition America; Fall of Berlin wall; Kuwait; downward economy
42. Clinton: “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”
43. G. W. Bush: stupid things he said; 9/11; War on Terror
44. Obama: Obama Doctrine (fixing economy?); bailouts; his new dog.
Carter nothing? Hell, he was a peanut farmer!
Carter; Lusting after other women in his heart; Habitat for Humanity;
G. W. Bush…Lifes lost due to his denial of stem cell research
Carter had that look of a bright but down home mature gentleman you would like to call grandpa. When I had to go to court on several issues I sought an attorney with similar characteristics. We won all the cases!

Eisenhower: “the military-industrial complex.”
Carter: Camp David Accords
“I didn’t inhale” I did not have sexual relations with that women—Ms. Lewinski”
“Why quit our own to stand on foreign soil?” (Geo. Washington)
“The buck stops here” (Harry Truman) Good ole’ Harry never blamed things on his predecessor. He had true character and honesty.
