this is what you need to do make sure that you have the aux mode on then you slowly turn the volume up on both the radio and the ipod
How do you know where to turn it on from?
if you do have an aux outlet then there should be a button on the radio that switches FM, AM, CD, and aux
I got it now but it sounds all alien-y
what do you mean by alien-y?
The music goes through the radio and comes out through the speakers but it doesn’t sound right it’s like frequency or something
so you mean it static comes out? maybe you should try turning up your ipod’s volume level to about 80% and then turn up the radio’s volume
I turned it up slowly and then the radio like you said but it still happens
Yeah static
okay turn the radio’s volume completely off then turn up the the ipod volume to 80% then turn the radios volume slowly
Ok I did and you can sort of hear the instruments but not the people singing it and it sounds wierd
aww dang it I could’ve sworn that was the problem ummm… can you try it on a different radio or something?
I’ll go do it, damn you have me running out of my room to different parts of the house :)
I’m sorry about that but hey look at the bright side, you might get you’re ipod to play on the radio :)
Yeah I thank you for that :)
haha no problem, so did you try it on another radio or something?
Our other cheap ass radios don’t have the connection, fuck!!!
ah dang that sucks, so tell me why you want to be able to use the ipod on the radio
Because I wanna bug my mom :)
Why?
I was gonna say if you have computer speakers just plug them in to your iPod
My speakers don’t have a connection either, man we need to stock up on electronics again
wait so are the computer speakers built in to the computer?
Yeah wait no, they are plugged in the computer not built in
aww I don’t know what else to say anymore…
do you by any chance have an amp and a jack converter?
Uhm not sure what a jack converter is.. But yeah I have a small amp
I don’t have one but I have one with 3 different cords attatched to one a red, yellow, and white one but I think it’s for tv’s :)
what does it look like exactly?
I don’t know how to post links exactly and it’s a little black one. And the connection fits my iPod, and it has 3 cable stringys and they each have a head, but it doesn’t have a connection thing it’s like the one you send me
Ok it looks like that but you cant plug it in the colored ones in anything
well if you can’t see the three red, white, and yellow holes in the front you can usually find them in the back
Huh idk, damn I wish I could take it a picture and send it to you
yeah having like a webcam conversation would be a lot easier
Hmm if the aux is the standard red White phono plugs you should be able to plug in using the cable from the tv (just ignore the yellow one) if there is any way of removing the speaker cable from the back of your computer they should plug straight into your iPod.
I go it now people!!!! I had the wrong end connected to my iPod totally something I would do : ]
woah, well at least you got it now :)
better late than never I always say
Yup now I can make people mad by turning up the loud volume!!!!
