Who is Jason Calacanis?
Whoever he is, he seems very unpopular here. What’s the context for this?

He’s trying to buy the Internet.
perhaps this is compensation for some type of shortcoming?
Thanks for the info.
He seems like an unethical fellow at the very least.
Apperently it’s the person that every flutherite hates! :)
@hungryhungryhortence Employs criminals too? He wouldnt be the first web-entrepeneur do hire hackers to do their dirty work. Again, unethical.
Buy the internet? Wouldn’t that be like buying God or something?
Here is why he’s got Fluther mad at him.
I keep seeing Fluther questions appearing on other q & A sites all the time. It must be hard to tell when someone is stealing them and when a user just asks them on several different sites at the same time.
I also see content here that I have previously seen making the rounds of many different blogs I participate in. How would the issue of ‘stealing’ even be resolved, unless someone simply went through the “all” question page and copied them all down.
Information on the web is stolen constantly.
We offer the content of this site.
We are the ones whose information is being stolen.
Ben and Andrew are the pimps of the site.
We’re the streetwalkers who work for free.

@SeventhSense Did you forget to put a ~ at the end of those last 3 lines, or…. ?
