The Passion of Joan of Arc and Cat Power?

Asked by trumi (6501points) June 2nd, 2009

Apparently in 1999 Cat Power played a musical accompaniment to the 1928 silent film “The Passion of Joan of Arc”. I read online that it was mostly composed of songs from “The Covers Record”, but of course they would be set in a different order. I’m a big fan of Cat Power and I just watched Joan, which I found just fascinating. I would love to experience the Cat Power version, if possible.

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of this recording? I don’t think she made an album of it, so I guess it’d have to be bootlegged… Has anybody ever seen it, or did you attend when she was playing it?

This is a long shot question I think :)
