I’m running out of noodles, and I have a big jar and a half of Prego sauce. I can think of it as a sauce for garlic bread.. or maybe for breaded chicken and cheese with it. So What else can I cook using Prego tomato sauce?

Sell it, buy pesto and make some nice fusilli.
Make a beef stew but use the Prego sauce and some red wine, to make an Italian version. Use it to make homemade pizza. Pour it over Italian sausage and slices of bell pepper and onion and bake it. Pour it over chicken leg quarters and bake them. Buy frozen meatballs, microwave them and the sauce and make meatball subs.
Use your imagination.
U can always use it for chili if u have kidney beans some ground beef carrots celery or what ever u like in chili
Chicken Cacciatore: brown chicken pieces, simmer in the sauce for 25 – 30 minutes. Serve with steamed whole green beans and yellow beans and soft wheat dinner rolls. For dessert serve mini-eclairs.
Porkpine meatballs: Thoroughly mix ground meat, cooked rice, egg, oregano, garlic powder and black pepper in a large bowl. Shape the mixture firmly into 25 meatballs. Heat the sauce in a skillet, add meat balls, bring to boil, then reduce to low, until meatballs are done. Serve with a Caesar salad and sautéed broccoli with garlic. For dessert serve oatmeal raisin cookies.

Chicken parmesan. Preheat oven to 350.
Chicken breasts, beat an egg, coat chicken with egg. Roll chicken in bread crumb seasoning. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 15 min. spoon Prego sauce into pan and over chicken. Put a slice of mozarella cheese on each slice. Return to 350 degree oven and cook for 20 more minutes.
I’d use it with some chopped veggies and rice and some grilled chicken.

Vegetables! Cook up zucchini, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, and other vegies you love and pretend they are the spaghetti. Also you can use bean sprouts and asian soy noodles if you have them in the house.
