Was there an episode of the Simpsons that was based on some sort of Utopia?
I know it’s there…..can’t seem to find it, or honestly, clearly recall whether or not it exists!!!!

There was the one where he worked for Scorpio (the opposing nuclear plant boss, who was supposed to mimic a bond villain) .... The city Scorpio had set up around his plant was “utopia”-ish… I forget the episode name though.
Yeah, that’s the only one I can think of too. Marge finds that her life is so boring and pointless because there are machines that do everything for her. Homer has a great job with a ton of perks and a (seemingly) great boss.
Yup, they ^ got it right. The episode is called “You Only Move Twice”.
Nothing with a Stepford Wives or 1984 or Truman Show feel to it?
Can you think of an animated series that does? This is bothering me for some reason….!
Sweet reponses thus far….thanks!
There’s a 1984 reference in the episode Mypods and Boomsticks, but just for a second.
How do you know these thingsssssssss??!?!??!!
Oh wait; you’re Jeff Goldblum!
That’s right, I am all knowing. Google helped.
The Thin White Line (Family Guy) has a Stepford Wives reference.
Leela’s Home world (Futurama) has a Truman Show reference.
