Is there a way to quickly get to the address bar on a iPhone/iPod touch?

If I am in the middle of browsing a long webpage it take forever to scroll back to the top of the page to get back to the address bar. Right now I hit the back button to quickly get to it. I must be missing something. There has to be a better way.

Just tap the grey status bar at the top. It will bring you all the way to the top of the page, with the address bar.
