He’s extremely into classic cars, especially Corvettes. He has recently been showing his ‘60 Corvette at shows and winning medals. He has a sizable garage and likes to tinker on cars. He also has a mustache.

Mustache wax is always a good call. The Rollie Fingers look is highly underrated.
A “Magnum PI” Season 1 DVD also works. It sustains the Sports Car Aesthetic as well as the Mustache Aesthetic.
a grandchild might be good
Is there a particular magazine aimed at car owners? Both my father and father in law have liked magazine subscriptions in the past because it’s something they get all year.
@prude Whoa now. It’s father’s day but there’s no need to go off the deep end.
I suggest a nice card and a heartfelt personal note.
Maybe a special display box or shelf to show off his medals.
Classic Corvette, sizeable garage and a stach, eh? Sounds like a high-end stripper is in order…
@YARNLADY Oooh. Perfect. I’ve been looking on amazon but all the ones I find are for military medals… what size box do I need for the “blue ribbon” size ribbons that he’s getting?
You could just buy a large shadow box, and arrange them/mount them yourself as part of your gift.
This site has a large choice, or visit a craft store in your area.
My dad loves to wash his Harley. I bought him some microfiber clothes, a car dust mop thing and some turtle wax. I dunno if he uses it or not, but I know he loves the microfibers. Your dad probably would too.
Does he have a portable space heater for the garage or good quality cushioned roller board? We got my dad elbow pads and a few pairs of padded biking shorts one year because he does pretty much the same things he liked the butt padding on the shorts for wearing under jeans.
