Buying electronics in Halifax, Canada. Where?

I highly doubt you’d find any tax free/duty free ones.

The major Canadian electronic brand stores are Future Shop and Best Buy. They’re owned by the same managing company so you won’t really find any better deals between the two, but if you have the time and inclination you could give them both a peek, sometimes they carry different stuff and at different prices. Lol, the only way you can run out of tax is buying from a relative or another person who want to get rid of it. No store can afford to go tax free in Halifax :).
