Asked by Lalalime (95points) June 22nd, 2009 from iPhone

What are some creative and unusual ways I can use jelly powder other than the traditional way of making jiggly jelly to eat?

What do you mean by jelly powder? I come across three different things by that name, dried gelatin (with or without flavoring), an explosive composed of nitroglycerin and collodion cotton that looks like calf’s-foot jelly, and royal jelly powder, a side product from bee-keeping.

I do have some ideas for the first sort, but only limited suggestions for the second, and none at all for the third.

Since the topic is food, I’m going to assume she means dried gelatin… not nearly as much fun as coming up with creative uses for an explosive!

She don’t use jelly.

If it is flavored jelly powder, then try this – it doesn’t have to be only red jello. Any flavor you like will do.

And then there is this

And then there is also this

We’re not big Jello eaters here but I do use lemon jello powder for Lemon chicken. Family snarfs it up!
