Disable or delete GPRS function in my nokia e63?
GPRS has been charging me without me knowing why, so as I don’t really care for that feature I want to disable it or delet it, any help?

Disable GPRS and you won’t have a cell phone anymore. You’ll just have an electronic device that cannot talk to the outside world.
GPRS is the cellular network technology.
@pezz, maybe, but then there’s no charge for that. :-\
@robmandu there might be if it’s running with Google maps via the internet!
I think the OP means cell phone data…as in mobile web, application data, and other such things. This is different from phone calls and text messages. Cell phone data goes through GPRS and many carriers charge by the KB or MB.
You can’t just “turn off” the GPRS because that will interfere with the texts and phone calls. You need to go into your phone’s settings and turn off the data feature. Perhaps there is a connection manager or something? Or call your carrier and explain that you don’t want internet and ask how to turn it off because you don’t want to be charged.
@pezz, I think @seekingwolf explains it more correctly re: data plan usage (and that syncs up with the intent behind your idea about Google Maps.)
Regardless, the GPS functionality itself is not dependent on Google Maps or anything else. And is still free regardless.
