Do you wake up in the morning refreshed and energized?

Does anyone? I NEVER did. If you do, what’s the solution?

Nope! But I feel fine anyway!

@dverhey DAMN YOU!
Not if I let myself go back to sleep. If I make myself get up, I usually feel great afterwards. If I let myself go back to sleep, I usually wake up feeling groggy and have difficulties breathing for some reason.

Usually, I do.

And I win again…

I do. Get up at the same time every day (I know it sucks, but it does work), and if you have to wake up early, go to bed early.

Not every morning, but it happens. It’s a magical thing when it happens!

I get up at 3:30 every morning wide awake and ready to greet a new day.
only problem is, I have a hard time staying awake after 9:00pm

Never. If I go to sleep mad I’ll wake up mad!

Not always, depend on the amount of sleep, too much isnt healthy nor is too little. I started getting in bed by 11 and asleep until 8am, drank water before bed. Ate before 8pm and changed to a healthy diet and kept myself fairly busy with college and then the gym 3 times a week. I now feel great nearly every morning! My mind is fresh and so’s my body. I think it was lack of sleep, too much laptop time and rubbish food that was doing me in.

Nope, i stay up too late and get up too early to be refreshed every day but the weekends.

Whether I sleep well or not, my body refreshes on it’s own each morning at about 5:30am which is really annoying when I’d really like to sleep in.

@Aero Bad health habits! ;-) Welcome to Fluther!
Well aren’t I just the greeter today. I’m filling in for jonsblonde. ha.

I wouldn’t call it refreshed and energized, but I wouldn’t call it still tired, either. I generally get sleepy later in the day, no matter how much sleep I’ve gotten. I generally can’t sleep more than a certain amount, and I typically feel the same, no matter how much sleep I’ve gotten. It’s not great and it’s not bad, it just is, if that makes any sense.

Morning?

Does 1pm and later count?

Waking up refreshed is as much a health issue as it is a sleep issue. If you eat healthy foods, lots of fruits and vegetables, and drink plenty of water (6 to 8 glasses a day)and get enough exercise, walk at least a mile a day or equivalent, and get enough sleep, you might find yourself waking refreshed.

I work all night and sleep during the day. So, for me, I wake up in the afternoon refreshed and energized. Sometimes. Not often enough though. I think it’s time for a nap.

irocktheworld's avatar

I have to wake up in the morning and brush my teeth ,brush my hair,

and eat a pancake or cearal and more but I dont want to say everthing

No, I always feel very anxious in the mornings and it takes a few hours for that feeling to subside.

I feel very tired in the morning and it takes about an hour for me to wake up fully.
