Does anyone have a good streamlined process for moving their clipped RSS articles into a proper idea organizer such as Evernote, DEVONthink, or some other tool?

Asked by freerangemonkey (353points) June 29th, 2009

I am looking for a streamlined (think automagically syncing) method for sharing my RSS feed clippings with a tools such as Evernote or DEVONthink for easy searching and categorizing purposes. I use NetNewsWire/Newsgator, but I am not averse to switching to something like Google Reader if it does this sort of thing better.

another work around i think is to move everything web-based, the way I do it using gmail

create a gmail account and create a filter with the following steps: http://lifehacker.com/033239/gmail-as-a-journal

if you find the right thing in your rss feeds. Open the article in a new tab. then click “Gmail this” <-a bookmarklet that can be found here: http://email.about.com/library/misc/blgmail_this_bookmarklet.htm

a new pop-up will show you a gmail compose page with the subject and link already in the e-mail. just add some keywords or ideas for later reflection then send.
