Firefox users: is there a way to make all bookmarks appear on screen at the same time?

Asked by SirBailey (3130points) July 1st, 2009

I have a lot and it takes FOREVER to scroll through them, or even to go to the last one.

On a Mac: Shift+Cmd+B

On Windows (i’m guessing): Shift+Ctrl+B

This brings up the Bookmarks manager, and you can search, sort, etc your bookmarks.

While we are on the subject of Firefox. I love the new Top Sites feature. Is there a similar thing for Firefox?

@Bri_L Yes, there is. It’s called “Most Visited”. Also, there’s a plug-in called “Fox Tab” which emulates the marquee style tab select in Safari/Chrome.

The bookmarks file is just a html file that you can open in Firefox. You might even be able to add some css to it. You could just bookmark your bookmarks file and put it in your bookmarks toolbar.

Here is what it looks like when you load it.

I take back the add CSS part. I tried, trust me, you don’t want too. But you could use GreaseMonkey to alter it. That should work.
