are there any iPod touch cases that cover the whole iPod including the sceen that isnt a hard case?

off the top I don’t know but ilounge has a lot of choices, many of which have been reviewed.

I’m a big fan of the iPod socks – they’re great if you want to be able to just toss your iPod in a bag without worrying about it scratching (I actually use them for my cell phone and camera too!)

Ifrogz are great. Full cover comes with a film for the screen and the click wheel as well as the full rubber case, and they’re completely customizable.

I have this Belkin one, which was the first soft wallet-style case I found. It’s a nice soft leather, enbossed in a variety of styles afaik, and it ships with a stick-on protector for the screen (I’m not convinced the iPod touch needs a screen protector to be honest, since glass is pretty hard to scratch, and easier to clean than vinyl). While it’s nice, and keeps the iPod nice and protected in my pocket or bag, I find myself removing it to do anything beyond changing tunes as the edges come too close to the screen and constrict typing.

Don’t underestimate Apple’s designers: While the iPod chrome is easily scratched, the design is pretty optimal for holding in the hand, and any case pretty much screws with that.
