I was forced to use one today and I was a nervous wreck wondering if I would be issued a ticket if I were caught!

no. just kinda looked down upon if a handicapped person were waiting on you.
No. It’s a shame though cause that would be one funny court case.
There were many times when the boys were small I used the Hdcp stall only to keep the 3 of us together in a public restroom situation.
When you gotta go,,,,,
The beauty of liging in Italy: nobody gives a shit. Policemen ticket you if they feel like (which generally means yes, to the point that they might actually ticket you for something you didn’t do) but none of them will give a shit where you pee.
No, I don’t think so. Just make sure you don’t “take your time” in case a handicapped person may need to use the stall.
The larger stalls in bathrooms are not handicap-only. They’re simply handicap-accessable. Much like elevators instead of a flight of stairs.
If the other stalls in the bathroom are occupied, it would be idiotic to stand there and hold it while a perfectly usable stall is sitting there unoccupied, simply because it’s large enough for someone in a wheelchair to use.
I use the handicap accessible stalls pretty often, especially when I have my son. They always tend to be the cleanest. Like @mrltty said, it’s “accessible” not “only”
@MrItty I’d never looked at it that way, but I’ve used the handicapped stall many times. I, too, think it’s dumb to just stand there while it’s empty. The next time I’m forced to use one, I’ll think of you, LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
you poor thing worrying about that…..no queue, no problem?.....given you were placing yourself under immense pressure were you actually able to go?....speaking as a man who knows about these things….
@tadpole – Thank you for your understanding of the gravity of the situation. It was not easy, but I managed, all the while harboring mental images of a swat division of the handicapped toilet police storming the door and catching me indisposed!
@rooeytoo oh god remind me not to think of fluther the next time i am in the gents toilets…
If the toilet is not occupied, then using it for personal relief is okay.
