When do you use it and why? What were the circumstances?

“Dayo” is my catch-all expression, meaning hello, what’s up, that’s cool, etc. Probably from Harry Belefonte’s Banana Boat Song.
I use the word “bummer” whenever it’s called for. As to why I use it, I have absolutely no idea… I don’t think I picked it up from anyone or anything, I just kinda say it when something is a “bummer.”
I also say “what a rip” or “that’s a rip” or something along those lines whenever something’s a ripoff, but since that’s just an abridged version of a word/phrase already in existence, I again have no clue where I got it from.
Who knows why I do half the things I do?
You may have seen it, it is the mantra I use quite often. Life is about choices, your results may vary which I am sure some people are pretty tired of seeing typed here on fluther.
It is better to light a candle than to sit and curse the darkness.
I also like – Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater.
As you guys know I like to use Dude alot :)
“When Mama’s happy, everybody’s happy!”
“oh snap!” and “oh no you didn’t!” strictly in text.
Let’s not put all eggs into one basket. One context would be the future of energy.
