What is your favorite Web Comic? And why does it give you such a good chuckle?
I’m very partial to Married to the Sea which pairs old newspaper drawings with funny quips. Also, xkcd is a good one because I like math-y and generally nerdy jokes. Which ones do you like?

I should really learn to search fluther before I ask a question. Oh well, at least I asked the ‘why’ bit.
XKCD is my favorite, for the same reasons you listed – they’re jokes that primarily only nerds like myself get.
I’m also fond of Questionable Content There’s a lot of sarcasm among the characters, which I enjoy.
For a long while, I read GPF, but they got pretty far removed from their original “Geek goes to work in office full of geeks, hilarity ensues” basic story, and moved into weird alternate dimensions, time travel, sci-fi type stuff, which, while I love in general, not so much in a Nerd-based comic strip.
The only other one I remember reading on a regular basis was Kevin & Kell, but I just lost interest a while back.
I can’t stand the way xkcd is drawn. Its a shame, too.
Natalie Dee is hilarious, mainly because you never know what is going to be next. I like the spontaneity.
Piled Higher and Deeper is my life, in comic form. It brings a sense of calm to my life to know that I am not the only one who has to deal with this academic insanity.
I adore Dinosaur Comics. It’s the only webcomic that frequently makes me laugh out loud.
I also read Quentionable Content, and Girls with Slingshots. Both are also very funny, plus they have great art – something which I admit Dinosaur Comics is definitely missing. :)
I do like xkcd, but my favorite comic is Order of the Stick. It’s really funny only if you play Dungeons and Dragons, but it’s brilliant on that front, and I think you might be able to follow the plot (it has good characters) even if you’re not a gamer. It’s certainly popular in that circle, though!
I also read Scary Go Round, which is an odd bit of work, but is strangely entertaining, particularly the earlier episodes.
A Softer World isn’t exactly a comic, and it doesn’t always really make me chuckle, but the photography is beautiful, and the written content can be funny or profound.
And I guess Postsecret is more of a blog, but I particularly love it.
xkcd is a big one. I also love Questionable Content. No matter how much you like QC, though, I do not recommend buying their merchandise. They have a tendency to take your money and never deliver the product (I speak from experience). xkcd is great about their shirts (which contribute greatly to my wardrobe).
You have to read “Bear Nuts” ( you will have to search it I am on my ipod so I cannot attach links). This comic is great though it is about bears that are similar to care bears but have different characteristics such as: Narcotic bear, Drunk bear, Gay bear, Death bear, Evil bear, Nerdy bear, Kinky bear etc etc. That all live in a zoo together. It is a great read. And I agree with Questionable Content and Cyanide & Happiness, I think I will also check out the other comics mentioned.
I second Questionable Content. Long running. Great story lines. Real life cartooned. Lots of humor. Sarcastic. Witty. Sexy.
i second asofterworld. it’s not always funny, but when it is, it is absolutely my sense of humour. zombies, giant babies, etc.
also, smbc is pretty much as funny as it gets. mildly offensive, totally funny. they hit all the best topics too. religion, sex, kids, superheroes, first dates, injustice…
Last Kiss takes old romantic comics, and adds new dialog. It’s a hoot.
