Washing mold off painted wood siding, any tips?

I’m using “Simple Green” a plastic scrub brush and a garden hose. I’d like to get better results without poisoning myself or killing all the plants around the base of the house

Can you pressure clean it? That’s what we do in FL for patios and other areas.

go to your local ace hardware, home depot or lowe’s or menards and look for “wet and forget.” spray solution on affected area and forget about it. natural rain water does the rest.
