That’s a good question, my friend.
Those who know can’t tell you how it is, and those who don’t know would give their right arm to know.
Hell, i think i am but i really don’t know, i think you know if you’re in love only after it is all over. From the reaction you get from losing that loved one. I know i will be sure only after that, so far i don’t really know.
I might wake up one day i can’t stand her, who knows?
You will know when you are ;)
I just knew. It was a feeling that consumed my whole body, every bit of it, once I realized that it was true love. It was overwhelming in the most amazing way possible.
@Thammuz
GA by the way
I know I am and I don’t know if I can describe it to you, apart from it’s one of those things that creeps up on you and you’re not even sure exactly when it happened. It’s never really been an epiphany moment for me.
I knew by the smell. I knew the minute I saw him that he was the one I had been waiting for. I knew it. Then I inhaled and if there was any doubt at all it was removed. It didn’t hurt that since I was about 10 years old I have known how I would recognize him – he has one very distinct feature that I have seen in my head for a long, long time.
:)
It is hard to explain the feeling, but the first time I ever saw him I knew I was in love.
@SuperMouse I’m almost afraid to ask, but what is that very distinct feature?
Thanks everyone! I hope I find that lucky guy some day!! :)
You guys rock! :D
@chyna I always knew I would recognize him because he would be in a wheelchair. I honestly have no idea why or how I knew that, I just did. He knew my name.
@SuperMouse Really? That blows me away. That is almost a preminition.
(Of course when I asked you what the distinct feature was, my mind was in the gutter, lol)
@chyna He’s of course got that going on too! :o) ...and if you’ve ever seen the movie Murderball I can vouch for the fact that what those girls say is true… If you haven’t, check it out and you’ll see what I mean.
Adding to list of movies to rent, Murderball.
You’re in love when you are ready to go through thick and thin with that person. When you love him/her inspite of his/her shortcomings. When you prioritize that person before yourself. You’re in love when he/she brings out the best in you and you try to make each other a better person.
“Love is not blind. It sees but it doesn’t mind”
There’s a million pictures in my head and they all end up meaning the same thing: I believe in life with you. It’s happened a few times and I’m lucky to have the experiences and memories to guide me to people who also have turned out to believe in life with me :D
My lady tells me she’s never felt like she does with me before, and is amazed she just feels like spending all day making love to me. That’s one way it can feel. It’s sad to me that so many people get into sex and relationships and even have families and don’t seem to be very in love the way I’ve been.
Thanks Everyone!!!!! =]
Now I know how love feels!!! I just hope I’ll find it someday!! =]
It’s strange but if you have to ask if ur in love you probably are not. It’s hard to describe, cause’ for me, it’s different every time. My first love was young, high school, and it was all butterflies and holding hands…but it was love :) My second love was intense, deep, passionate, up and down and amazing love….someone I was completely myself with, and I didn’t think I could be in love like that again. Now, I am in satisfying love. Love with respect, laughter, smiles…and no worries. It’s different to everyone, and it’s different every time but you just know :)
