Use the Internet connection. The iPhone app is good, but it could be improved.
I’m on iPod and I like it better on the app, the downside is that you can’t see links on it
The other downside to the app is that you can’t turn it “landscape.” Old people like me with poor eyesight need a little bit bigger font. I use the app anyway though because it seems to get to where I want to go faster.
The internet connection is way better.
iphone.fluther.com all the way, my only quarrel however is that the text boxes are unresponsive (at least on my phone). In other words you can’t easily scroll up and down in the text boxes.
There’s an app? Huh. Good to know….
@drClaw ; It is really frustrating when you want to go back and edit but you can’t get the text box to scroll. I have left a few embarrassing mistakes out there because of it.
Hey lookit that – there’s an app!!
Part of why the website is better is that the app is not official so, IIRC, there are things the website can do that the app simply cannot. In part because when it was written, these features did not exist yet.
I like the internet version better honestly.
@drClaw and @Judi have you tried it with the new 3.0 software? I was able to scroll just now, but holding down on the text box that contained a long answer, and slowly moving my thumb down the box, as though I was going to select/cut/copy some part of text. Worked fine.
@MrItty I have not tried since 3.0 was released. Thanks for the tip!
The internet site is great. The iPhone app is good but needs more work and polishing.
Fluther. Yeah there’s an app for that.
I use both and find the internet version more user-friendly. Only, on Iphone you can immediately log off and go when in a hurry and need not to wait for the computer to shut down.
i.fluther.com is what I use. Haven’t tried the app but I hear it kinda sucks. The only thing I don’t like is the text box, and names don’t autofill with @.
